Basics of NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) Discussed

The NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) is ranked amongst the prestigious engineering entrance examinations conducted in at three basic levels namely. NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III respectively, in order to gain direct admissions into the Base Module; Diploma Module & Degree Module of Engineering & Technology branches of Technology; and the Degree Module of Forestry stream through NEE-II only. The examination is designed for the individuals having the North Eastern Domicile – and students living in states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam. Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram. Nagaland, Sikkim & Tripura are eligible and encouraged to apply. Prospective students are selected in the order of their merit and there is specific allocation of seats in various reservation categories. The news for NEE-I, II & III come out in various nationalized and vernacular newspapers with the circulation base in North Eastern region. The news is published in the month of December every year.
